As humans, all of us go through dry seasons in life. It could be in our finances, our health, or any other area of our life. Today, no matter what the dry area in your life may be, they must hear the Word of the Lord!

In the natural, when we are exhausted physically due to hard work or heavy exercise, we get dehydrated. The first and the best solution to overcome such dehydration within our physical self is to drink enough amount of water so that, not only will our thirst be quenched we will also be revived.

In the same manner, when we go through tough times in life, we dry up both spiritually and emotionally. We tend to give up too soon. The only solution at such times is to declare and release the life-giving Word of God into our situation. Because it is the Spirit that gives life!

Now, you might wonder as to how do we release the life of God into our situations. We need to speak forth the Word of God! The Word of God is full of the Spirit and life (John 6:63). Every Scripture is God-breathed and has the life of God in it (2 Timothy 3:16). When we speak forth the life-giving Scriptures that are God-breathed, the life in it will flow into our situations and resurrect those areas of our life. Therefore, the dry areas in our lives need to hear the Word of God!

When Prophet Ezekiel spoke forth the Word of God over the dry bones as God commanded, God released His breath and those dry bones were revived because of the life in the breath; and they stood up on their feet! (Ezekiel 37:10). In the same manner, when we speak forth the promises of God over any dry area of our life, the Spirit of God will revive those areas by His resurrecting power.

The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21, “the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

God has placed this wonderful power in our tongue! Rather than worrying and speaking negativity over our life, we should choose to declare the promises of God over any situation, and the Spirit of God will witness it and release life into that situation. No matter how dried up you are, when the breath of God is released, you will be revived again.
